Exchanges [?]Exchanges - Click here to see the other barter companies in the network that you can trade with. Click any state shown in dark blue to see the exchanges and contact information.

Full List [?]Full List - Here is a list of all members within your barter company, by category. At the top of the list are members really looking for trade. Within the categories members really looking for trade are shown in blue at the top of their categories. You can check off a box 'Really Want Trade' in your settings if you want trade.

US Barter Network is a Nationwide Barter & Trade Group headquartered in Central Florida.

Everyone understands barter as a one-for-one trade: A hair stylist offers a landscaper free haircuts in return for landscaping. The problem is that you both
have to want what the other one has, AND in the same amount.

US Barter Network solves that problem by assembling a network of businesses who agree to barter with each other. The members buy and sell goods and services using the barter company as a third party record keeper, much like a bank. When you sell, your barter account is credited with barter dollars. When you buy, your barter dollars are transferred from your account to the seller’s. As a barter company member you don't have to purchase from whom you sold, or vice versa. Barter is simply another currency, legal and taxable and all proceeds are reported on IRS form 1099-B.

Typically a barter company charges a cash fee for their services, which is tax deductible like any other business expense. US Barter Network members pay $200 cash to join and receive a minimum $500 interest free, barter credit limit on their account to spend right away. The cash fee to join covers their registration fee of $80 and their account fee for six months which is $120. When members buy, there is a cash transaction fee of 10% of any barter purchase they make.
